The UK has lost up to 92% of its seagrass meadows in the last century and WWF in partnership with Sky0 wanted to bring attention to this as well as the work they are doing to protect seagrass.

“Watching Grass Grow” is a film and outdoor campaign about an unlikely superhero in the fight against climate change.It’s name….Seagrass. A little green species that captures carbon up to 35 times faster than tropical rainforests.

The film, shot in the style of a Hollywood movie trailer, and narrated by actor Nicholas Pinnock (Sky Original Django and Muhammad Ali biopic) tells of the power behind the mighty seagrass and how, as a nation, we can help to save it by raising awareness of the power of the UK’s natural habitats in the fight against climate change.

The film inspires viewers to become a #ForceforNature, by signing up to show their support for protecting and restoring UK nature.
